Compatibility & hardware

My customer makes copies and prints. Does ACS handle both?
Yes. ACS counts both copy meters and print meters.
Does ACS handle scans?
Yes. ACS handles scans exactly like other meters.
Does ACS support different paper formats?
Yes. ACS reads all compatible meters: A3, A4 and A4-equivalent, single/double-sided, black & white and color.
I have several multi-brand devices. Is ACS compatible?
Yes. ACS is a multi-brand solution, manufacturer-independent. Even if you change your hardware, you keep your usual counting habits.
I have self-service printers and copiers. Does ACS manage the entire fleet?
Yes. ACS works with all networked print devices: printers, MFPs, copiers.

Pricing

How does tier-based pricing work?
Once the volumes to be billed are known, ACS automatically selects the applicable price tier per your configuration and computes the amount. Everything is automatic.
Can I manage different rates based on volumes used by my customers?
Yes. ACS supports tier-based pricing, fully customizable and applicable to black-and-white and color volumes.
Can I manage different rates per customer profile (student, business, etc.)?
Yes. With the Pro edition, ACS handles multi-rate pricing. You can set a standard rate and a student rate on the same machine, for example.

Counting & tracking

Can I run multiple counts at the same time?
Yes. ACS handles simultaneous counts on all your devices, directly from your computer, no manual action on the machines.
How do I start a count?
A click on Start launches the count and displays the start meters. A click on Stop instantly gives you the end meters and the difference.
Can I start a count while staying at my desk?
Yes. All counts are managed from the software interface. No manipulation of the machines is required.
Can ACS detect counting errors?
Yes. ACS compares the end meters of the previous count and the start meters of the next, and raises an alert in case of discrepancy.
Can I have traceability of the jobs done on my devices?
Yes. A full history of counts is available. You see the black-and-white and color volumes per device and the amount billed to each customer.

Why display toner levels?
Toner levels let you order consumables on time and never miss a sale due to running out.
Can I export my counts?
Yes. You can export all counts to Excel in one click.
Are usage statistics available?

Receipts & customers

Can ACS print a receipt?
Yes. ACS prints a detailed receipt at the end of each count to free up the machine for the next customer.
Does ACS handle prepaid cards?
Yes. ACS manages prepaid cards: credit, automatic deduction at each use, tracking.
How do I get compatible prepaid cards?
ACS lets you print your own customized prepaid cards for free.
How do I find a customer in ACS?
Type part of their name, or scan the barcode of their prepaid card with a barcode scanner (like at a supermarket).

Installation & technical

What are the installation and usage requirements?
A Windows PC with internet access, and your devices on the network. That's it. The installation wizard takes over in 5 minutes.
How do I tell the software which devices to integrate?
On first launch, a wizard guides you through detecting and selecting the devices to integrate. Everything is automated and integration takes a few minutes.
Is ACS available only in French?
No, ACS has a built-in translation feature for its interface. 5 languages are currently available.
